What’s the difference between Uber Exec and Lux? 2019
Difference Uber Exec and Lux – What is Uber Exec 2019?
UberEXEC is a version of UberBLACK, currently available in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and a host of other regions.
UberEXEC is a simple concept – when a rider requests UberEXEC, Uber sends only luxury vehicles to a prospective passenger. These vehicles can range anywhere from makes like Audi, BMW, Lexus, Jaguar and Mercedes.
UberEXEC vehicles usually seat four riders, and feature all-leather interiors.
UberEXEC is offered for customers seeking a ‘premium’ transportation experience, where comfort and luxury are prioritized. If you are looking to heighten your Uber experience (and to travel in a high-end ‘business’ or ‘premium’-style vehicle), UberEXEC is for you.
UberEXEC Allowed Car Models/Cars – UberEXEC Vehicle Types 2019
UberEXEC vehicles must be made in the year 2013 or newer. Currently, UberEXEC vehicles must be one of the following models:
- Mercedes E/S Class
- Audi A6/A7/A8
- BMW 5/7 series
- Lexus 350
- Jaguar XF/XJ
All vehicles must be black and must comfortably carry at least 4 passengers.
Some cities even require drivers to “dress the part” and act accordingly (i.e., in a well-mannered, professional way – similar to professional chauffeurs).
UberEXEC Prices
UberEXEC prices vary by city and country, but – in the UK – UberEXEC typically costs 4x (or more) the fare of an average UberX ride.
Internationally, UberEXEC is around 2-3x the cost of an UberX ride. In Singapore, for instance, UberEXEC charges a base fare of $7, plus $0.45 per minute, or $1.95 per km (with a minimum fare of $15).
How To Request An UberEXEC
Requesting an UberEXEC is simple. If UberEXEC is available in your area, you’ll see it as an option at the bottom of your Uber App (amongst other options, such as UberX, UberPOOL, or UberSELECT, etc).
Select UberEXEC and set your pickup location.
