Deliver with Doordash
DoorDash is an on-demand restaurant delivery service. DoorDash was founded in 2013 by Stanford students Andy Fang, Stanley Tang and Tony Xu. A Y Combinator-backed company, DoorDash is one of several technology companies that uses logistics services to offer food delivery from restaurants on-demand.
Bottom Line:
Its chief competitor is Postmates, though the food-delivery market is “overcrowded,” according to research-analytics firm CB Insights, with companies including Uber, Google, Amazon, Instacart, Tapingo, and Square’s Caviar all trying to carve out their own niche.
