National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has given this vehicle an overall five-star rating (and U.S. News has given this car a 9.3 out of 10 safety rating).

One of the least expensive cars on top ‘safe car’ lists, the Subaru Impreza sells for between $18,395 and $24,595. But don’t let the price fool you – the Impreza may not be as expensive as other cars, but its safety ratings exceed many of them anyway…making it a top pick for safety-minded purchasers & safety-conscious Uber drivers. Not only did the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration give it an overall five-star rating, but it also gave the Impreza five stars in every single safety category.
