UberEATS Network Error

What do you do if you get a ‘Network Error’ when using UberEATs?

When you are using the UberEATs app, you may see a ‘network message’. This happens on both iOS and Android. Luckily, this error is easy to fix.

  • iOS

If you are using an Apple devices, you will need to turn off the Wi-Fi by going to Setting> Wi-Fi. Make sure that airplane mode is off in Settings > Airplane mode. You may also need turn cellular data on, and make sure that Uber Partner App can use cellular data. This can be found in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data.

  • Android

If your device uses the Android OS, you will need to turn off your Wi-Fi in your Setting > Wi-Fi. Then make sure airplane mode is off in Settings > Airplane mode. You will also need to turn on your cellular data in your settings. This can be found by going to Setting > Wireless & Networks> Mobile Networks > Data Enabled.

If these steps do not solve the network error issues, try restarting your device. If the issue continues, uninstall and re-install the UberEATs app. On iOS devices, you can also try resetting your network setting. This can be done by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. (*Please note: Doing this can cause all the stored password to be deleted from the device).

If the problems continue, you should contact UberEATs about your error, what device you are using and what you have done to try to fix it. They may be able to help you fix the issue.
