1. Uber Riders: Getting Picked Up by Uber at Detroit Airport
Before you request an Uber Vehicle, confirm your location by selecting the correct terminal and door number at DTW.
- North Terminal
- McNamara Domestic
- McNamara International
Once you have confirmed your terminal, request your Uber Vehicle.
It is important to note that Detroit Airport charges a $5 fee for all rideshare pickups (as well as drop-offs), which will be charged to your card (this is in addition to a $2.30 booking fee).
2. Uber Riders: Getting Dropped Off by Uber at Detroit International Airport
All ride dropoffs must occur on the departures level.

3. Uber Drivers: Picking Passengers Up at Detroit Airport
Enter the staging lot for Uber drivers at DTW. You will automatically begin receiving trip requests.

After you receive a trip request, navigate towards your passenger’s requested terminal area on the arrivals level.
As you approach the terminal area, your Driver App will show your passenger’s terminal number & location.
4. Uber Drivers: Dropping Off Passengers at Detroit International Airport
To drop riders off at DTW, take your passenger to their requested drop-off terminal, which will be located on the Departures Level of Detroit International Airport.
